Mitel is discontinuing the Toshiba Line
On October 31, 2018, Mitel is discontinuing the Toshiba product line and no new equipment will be available after this date. Technical support will remain available for systems until October 31, 2021. For customers with IPEdge and MAS products, an active software assurance contract will have to be in effect for technical support availability.
If you have an existing IPEdge or MAS product you can still purchase software assurance which provides security updates and technical support access. Existing CIX products do not require the software assurance. Outside of software assurance, in the best interest of Towner customers, Towner Communications will no longer sell any Toshiba equipment because it will be discontinued in a few months.
But don’t worry! To help ease the burden of this transition we will be waiving the $500 installation fee to any Toshiba customer that decides to migrate to Towner Communication’s Cloud Solution by December 31st, 2018. If you switch to Pathway: MiCloud, we will waive the activation fee and provide a $125 credit for each user (10+ seats) or enjoy the perks of net new cloud promos. If you decide to go with Pathway: MiVoice, we will provide 50% off new hardware switches and 25% off new software licenses.
